Privacy Policy for Crack it!

Crack it! is designed with privacy in mind. The app works entirely on your device with no tracking and minimal external services.
What We Collect
Crack it! does not collect or store any personal information beyond what is described below. All game progress is stored locally on your device only.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores the following information locally using Apple’s standard on-device storage:
- Your puzzle progress and level
- Your completed puzzles and scores
- Your daily puzzle streak
- Your app preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
Crack it! uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — used to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You will be asked for consent before any personalised ads are shown.
- Apple CloudKit — used to store your Daily CipherWord leaderboard score and display name. This data is associated with your iCloud account and governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
The app may request permission for:
- Notifications — optional, used only to send a daily reminder to play the CipherWord puzzle. No notification data is collected or shared.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not collect personal information such as your email or contacts.
- We do not share any data with third parties beyond AdMob and CloudKit as described above.
- We do not use any analytics or behavioural tracking libraries.
