Privacy Policy for Squared Chess

Squared Chess is designed with privacy in mind. The app works entirely on your device with no tracking and minimal external services.
What We Collect
Squared Chess does not collect or store any personal information beyond what is described below. All game progress is stored locally on your device only.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores the following information locally using Apple’s standard on-device storage:
- Your game progress and scores
- Your best score
- Your app preferences and settings (haptics, sound effects, onboarding status)
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
Squared Chess uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — used to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You will be asked for consent before any personalised ads are shown.
The app may request permission for:
- Notifications — optional, used only to send notifications about the game. No notification data is collected or shared.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not collect personal information such as your email or contacts.
- We do not share any data with third parties beyond AdMob as described above.
- We do not use any analytics or behavioural tracking libraries.
