Time To Run is designed with privacy in mind. The app works entirely on your device with no accounts, no tracking, and no external services.
What We Collect
Time To Run does not collect or store any personal information. All data you create in the app — including your runs, goals, and badges — is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores the following information locally using Apple’s standard on-device storage:
- Your running goals and weekly progress
- Your run history (duration and date only — no location or route data)
- Your earned badges
- Your app preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
Time To Run uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs collecting data in the background.
The app may request permission for:
- Notifications — optional, used only to send run reminders at a time you choose. No notification data is collected or shared.
- Location — used only to fetch local weather conditions at the time of your run, displayed in-app only. Your location is never stored or transmitted beyond the weather request.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not collect any personal information such as your name, email, or contacts.
- We do not share any data with third parties.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries.
- We do not store GPS routes, pace, or distance data of any kind.
